"I see paper as more than a material; it is a carrier of information. Through layering, tearing, and reconstructing printed paper, I explore how narratives accumulate around everyday objects. In my recent works, paper becomes a space where consumption, information, and everyday experience intersect. A simple question: what does a human need when they are hungry?

And the simple answer is: food.

Yet for some people, hunger becomes a transactional opportunity, something to be exchanged for certain interests. From simply pretending to be a savior to influencing political choices, hunger has become transactional, carrying layered reasons and hidden intentions, mediated through sheets of paper.

Paper becomes a medium for promising fullness. It carries advertisements, promises, aid, propaganda, and various interests that wrap around something that is actually very simple: food.

But paper can never truly satisfy hunger. It only carries the promise of being full.

In the end, what is being exchanged is no longer simply food for hunger, but fullness for power."
