Audya Amalia - (b.1996, Bandung) is a young, contemporary, female artist. Audya graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Institute of Technology, Bandung, West Java. With a particular interest in the field, Audya uses her art as a mediator between her studies of humanity and the social, cultural issues and it's impact.

For our first Virtual Gallery Tour session, we will discover the works of Audya Amalia. Audya is a young artist from Bandung, utilizing textile, knitting, metal, sculpture, and elements of the relational aesthetic in her works. Her Njai series spoke bravely of multiple sensitive subjects -race, colonialism, sexism- apparent in our country's history.
