Reinventing Eve

Reinventing Eve was an exhibition of 14 established women artists from Indonesia and south east Asia and Australia. Portraying issues of where women stand in society today, the five day exhibition transformed the function hall at 1Park Avenue into an intimate gallery experience for the public to enjoy. Alongside the exhibit were two keynote lectures given by Ms. Carla Bianpoen entitled "Into the Future" in conjunction with the launch of her book on women artists. Ms. Mari Pangestu spoke on Art in Public Spaces.
The exhibition was presented by Indonesian Luxury, an online 360 degree solution for art and design. Curated by its member ISA Art, Reinventing Eve brought together Arahmaiani, Ines Katamso, Sally Smart, Ella Wijt, Rega Ayundya Putri, Inge Rijanto, Mella Jaarsma, Melissa Tan, Melati Suryodarmo, Sinta Tantra, Natisa Jones, Marisa Ng, Christine Ay Tjoe and Mary Lou Pavlovic in one platform with their different perspectives on the roles of women. The exhibition  brings together artworks to the Jakarta social scene and created a more accessible platform for the many art enthusiasts and connoisseurs to enjoy.  
 

Pop Up Exhibition at Rumah De Soematra with Forme

ISA Art collaborated for an annual private pop-up event in Surabaya hosted at Rumah De Soematra.  ISA showcased artworks alongside many other luxury products. Rumah De Soematra  in Surabaya dating from 1910 is a classic venue with authentic Dutch colonial surrounding the modern art pieces and contemporary furniture. Bringing up the foreground of integrating art and design, the leading furniture company Forme provided an exclusive selection of furniture that were emphasized by the venue. The artworks featured at the event were by Sinta Tantra, Takashi Murakami, Irfan Hendrian, Arkiv Vilmansa, Ruth Marbun, Rega Ayndya Putri and Made Wianta.
