Mother Tongue – Are You There?

ISA Art Gallery is honoured to present, ‘Mother Tongue – Are You There?’ Showcasing 3 generations of Bandung artists from various backgrounds of study and medium. Participating artists are AD. Pirous,Agus Zimo, Andiga Purwanto, Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo, Bandu Darmawan, Deden Hendan Durahman, Dzikra Afifah, Egga Jaya, Erna Garnasih, Erwin Windu Pranata, Galih Adika, Gregorius Sidharta, Nandang Gawe, Sjuaibun Iljas,Srihadi Sudarsono, Sunaryo, Syagini Ratna Wulan, Tina Nur Azizah, Trio Muharam, Wildan Indra Sugara, Yosefa Aulia, Zikry Rediansyah, Zahwa Fani. Artists often blend their mother tongue with influences from  current environments. As such,  Bandung artists could create innovative and hybrid works of expression. This leads to the creation of innovative artworks that merge tradition and contemporary ideas. This exhibition will launch on 16^th of September, would be located at ISA Art Gallery, Wisma 46, Jakarta.
