"The work emerges from an experience of rediscovering fragments of the self that had long remained hidden. Rather than depicting the self directly, the artist imagines a small space containing these fragments: a small figure placed inside a vessel alongside an empty chair.
Surrounding it are a horse being brushed, a map, and a boat. These objects function as fragments and clues, resisting a single interpretation. The vessel becomes both a container and a place of concealment, while the map and boat suggest that these fragments of the self are not something discovered once and for all, but something that continues to be traced and explored."
