"Woven and indigo-dyed works exploring ecological fragility through material, ritual, and protective gestures.
Drawing from the telupat lurik motif—traditionally linked to guardianship and spiritual protection—the works reframe weaving as an act of care toward vulnerable landscapes.
Indigo, associated with cultivation, labor, and traditional dye processes, functions as both material and symbol throughout the works.
Developed from the artist’s Abdi Alam project, the works reflect on forests, stone, and the human body as entities shaped by time, erosion, and accumulation."
