Photographed and Inspired by a real woodland behind my childhood home, this work transforms a place of meditation into an imagined landscape. Although the forest is drawn from lived memory, the piano is entirely fictional, a quiet presence I often imagined hidden among the trees, where nature and music became inseparable. A pine cone extends the work through scent, recalling the forest and emphasizing how smell can awaken memory more vividly than sight alone. Blending personal experience with imagination, the work invites viewers into a place where remembered reality and invented possibility coexist, allowing the past to resonate through a landscape that exists only in memory and fiction.
