Telluria: Appetite Singapore
Telluria, a group exhibition at Appetite Singapore curated by Tan Siuli. Telluria draws on mythologist Joseph Campbell’s idea that the “future myth” must speak to our relationship with the Earth and the cosmos. Named after tellur—“of the earth”—the exhibition evokes primordial origins, lost continents, and the deep ties between land, species, and story. In a moment of ecological urgency, Telluria invites us to imagine new myths for a living, sentient planet—braiding the ancient with the future, the material with the mythic, and the human with the more-than-human.
