Mantra Ibu Bumi is an artwork inspired by the *Ibu Bumi* song chanted by Kendeng residents during protests against cement factory development. The song functions as a prayer and a reminder for humans to protect nature. The work reflects the idea of Earth as a nurturing mother who has given generously but is being hurt and exploited in the name of corporate profit. Through this mantra, the farmers of Kendeng warn that neglecting care for the land—by taking more than nurturing—will lead to natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and droughts. The artwork invites reflection on how humans treat and manage the Earth.
