"This series of blue screen-prints documents Singapore's freshwater bodies, capturing a range from manmade drains to reservoirs to swamp forests. It highlights the vital importance of freshwater and the interconnectedness of various water sources.

By showcasing how human waste travels from drains to canals, reservoirs, nature reserves, and swamp forests, the artwork emphasises the detrimental impact of pollution on natural environments. The series contrasts the unsettling presence of human waste in nature and the often overlooked constructed water bodies in urban settings.

The aim is to raise awareness about the consequences of littering and to foster a deeper understanding of the connection between water bodies, encouraging more responsible and sustainable behaviour."
