"This painting holds a special place in Sack’s heart as he believes it captures her sorrows and struggles, and in some special way, connects them both as Malaysians who continuously strive to make meaning of their existence in the world despite their everyday vicissitudes.

The artist's journey of painting transgender individuals profoundly impacted his art and personal growth. Initially influenced by the societal stigma in Malaysia, he recognized parallels between the condemnation faced by transgender people and his struggles with identity. This realization led him to use his art to promote inclusivity and visibility for the transgender community.

Over seven months, he built strong bonds with the residents of T-Home for the Elderly, celebrating festivities, sharing meals, and learning traditional recipes. Despite challenges, his commitment never wavered, and these interactions fostered deep personal connections. By the project's end, the residents had become like family, and his paintings reflected the rich diversity and vibrancy of transgender lives in Malaysia.
This journey helped him overcome biases and self-judgments, reinforcing the importance of dignity and respect for all individuals. His art showcases his art and narrates a story of acceptance, understanding, and the beauty of human connections."
