Claudia Dian's artworks express an esoteric understanding of self. Inspired by Sufi mysticism, Claudia views her consciousness as an interconnected element. She expresses the existential union between self and universe in her clusters of watercolour forms. Each blotch of colour is unique, containing different blends of earthy hues, yet they are not separate entities. The colour in each globule bleeds into the next one through an elaborate connecting strokes.
