"This work reflects on a period of isolation and healing following an accident, understood through the metaphor of fasting. Beyond abstaining from food and drink, fasting becomes an intentional pause from familiar habits, desires, and activities.
In an increasingly accelerated world shaped by technology and productivity, the work considers the necessity of silence, solitude, and withdrawal. Drawing from nature—from resting soil to a snake shedding its skin and a caterpillar entering its cocoon—the work proposes absence not as deprivation, but as a space for healing, transformation, and discovering a renewed perspective.
It asks: What can silence and stillness offer us today?"
