"My chandelier series explores themes of collective insecurity, aspiration, and acceptance, using the chandelier as a symbol of status, illusion, and fragility. I am drawn to its intricate forms and the way it embodies both grandeur and vulnerability, making it a fitting metaphor for societal and personal anxieties. Through modifications and reinterpretations, I investigate its presence beyond luxury, connecting it to broader narratives of uncertainty, resilience, and identity.

Once translated onto paper, an object associated with permanence, luxury, and spatial dominance becomes a fragment that can be preserved, carried, stored, layered, and reproduced. This material transformation reflects my own experience of moving between places and inhabiting spaces that often feel temporary. Through this tension between grandeur and fragility, permanence and displacement, the chandelier becomes not only an image of aspiration, but also a reflection of how we construct, carry, and negotiate identity amid uncertainty."
