This series of work (Aras Citra 1 & Aras Citra 2) explores the link between the river's past and present through the interaction of archival material and water sampling. I utilise colonial imagery of the location where I collect water. The digitised archive, which was a postcard, is engaged with by photographing it in an analogue style and developing the film. This process immerses me in the water samples from the place where Cikapundung and Citarum meet.
