Two products of fantasy can coexist in today's reality, between the past that is shown through the old photograph of the Topeng Telek dancer, and the now, shown through Luh'De's photograph of jukung (traditional Indonesian outrigger canoe, primarily of Balinese origin) in Sanur. Both, to Luh'De are the perfect show of exotic paradise. The topeng dancer at the centre emerges through uncertainty instead of clarity similar to how tradition is passed down orally, often getting lost in translation.
