This work documents the presence of salted fish sold in suburban areas like Leuwinanggung, far from the sea. Many of these fish though often assumed to be from the ocean are actually farmed in inland regions and preserved before being distributed. The drying and salting process blurs the origin, raising questions about whether these products come from the sea or from freshwater farms. The Inland Catch highlights this quiet shift in how we perceive what's natural, and where our food really comes from.
