" This plays with classical philosophy, medieval Christianity and Rapunzel with the ladder and the…But really I just wanted to paint the clouds. They are copied from an 18th 19th century painting and the wall is from my daily walks in Ireland. You don’t know if the figure is returning or escaping. I wanted it to be unclear but as if being discovered.
